Scott McClure, P.E.

Scott brings over 40 years of experience in mechanical, structural, and industrial design to the table. He first worked as a plant and project engineer for Utah and Idaho Sugar Co. Currently he is a licensed professional engineer in 15 states and the president of McClure Engineering Inc.

His experience includes the design of structural, piping, material handling, and environmental systems for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. He is a certified energy analysis consultant for electrical utilities throughout the Northwest. He served as a member of the Idaho State Board of professional engineers and land surveyors from 1998 to 2008.

In 2010 he was awarded the Idaho Excellence in Engineering Award by the Idaho Society of Professional Engineers.

Dave Bastow

Dave is a McClure Engineering, Inc. Corporate Board Member, Operations Manager and Senior Design Engineer with more than 36 years mechanical design engineering and field experience. He has been on the McClure Engineering, Inc. staff since 1993. He specializes in refrigeration (Freon & ammonia), chillers, hot water boilers, HVAC systems, controls (refrigeration, HVAC DDC/pneumatic), energy auditing, modeling, evaluation, plumbing and electrical component design.

He has designed refrigeration for more than 450 grocery stores and for numerous other commercial and industrial facilities. Previously, he worked nearly 12 years for a western USA refrigeration contractor/manufacturer and almost three years as an independent contractor, as a plant foreman, and as a HVACR sales, design, and responsible project engineer.

Recent project clients include McCain Foods Plant, Albertsons-SuperValu, City of Twin Falls, Pocatello National Guard Armory, Fred Meyer-Kroger, Americold Frozen Storage, Clear Springs Trout, Idaho National Laboratory (INL), Twin Falls School District 411, Intermountain Gas Offices, LDS Church, Twin Falls County offices, Idaho State University Holt Arena, Pacific Ethanol Plant, Boliden Mine Crusher Plant (Sweden), Idaho Probation & Parole offices, HilexPoly Plant, Idaho Power and Bonneville Power Administration.

Russ Austin

Russ is a mechanical designer with 37 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Montana State University - Bozeman. More than half of his experience has been designing HVAC and plumbing for commercial and military facilities. In the past, he acted as a owner's representative, as well as a partner in a mechanical, electrical, plumbing contracting firm. He recently passed the American Concrete Institute's concrete construction special inspector program. In addition, he is MSHA certified and SSG safety Trained.

He was involved with a feasibility and design of a crusher facility for the largest open pit copper mine in Sweden. Also, he designed numerous ventilation systems for an Idaho cheese processing plant, as well as helping perform energy scoping audits on over 100 buildings within the Idaho K through 12 grade schools.

Steven earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Idaho State University and is licensed in the State of Idaho as an registered professional engineer of Idaho. He promotes energy conservation in the area of HVAC and boilers for new and existing systems as a design engineer.

His projects of design include a new HVAC system for an addition to an existing school in Idaho and multiple HVAC renovations on older HVAC systems for a Idaho college. Also, he has conducted energy studies on boilers and compressed air systems to identify energy saving opportunities thereby reducing operational costs.

Most recently, he updated an older supervisor controller to allow for campus wide expansion and updated older HVAC equipment to allow for more efficient operation for an existing HVAC system at an Idaho college. In addition, he worked on an existing boiler system for campus wide comfort heating and utilized waste heat from the boiler to make the system more efficient.

Abdul Khogiani, E.I.

Abdul holds his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2015. He has more than five years of academic high school experience as a science and mathematics instructor. In addition, he has experience in 2D drafting design in Autocad and has completed the final year project in subsoil profiling of Hayatabad using GIS for the final thesis.

Abdul has the skill of speaking six different languages (English, Hindi, Dari, Urdo, Parsian, and Pashto) and he worked on SAP 2000 structure design and GIS software.

Abdul is working on a few projects, such as a fryer wall reinforcement at McCain Foods (Burley, ID), Brian Park's building design (Jerome, ID), and foundation design as structural engineer intern and designer/drafter on Eagle Eye Produce (Twin Falls, ID) project. Moreover, Abdul is assisting both civil and structural engineers in different projects in the company.

Kathy Abby

Kathy holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in the field of Drafting Technology from the College of Southern Idaho. As lead drafter, she has created detailed HVAC, plumbing, structural, electrical, refrigeration, and 3D drawings for McClure Engineering since 2007, utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Structural Detailing, Revit and Microstation design/drafting software programs. She also assists with information input and programming for energy simulation analysis programs such as CHVAC and EQuest programs used to evaluate energy saving measures for existing and new structures. In addition, she serves as web master and IT person for the firm.

Brad Korsen

Brad holds a Technical Certificate in the field of Drafting Technology from the College of Southern Idaho and a Pre-engineering Academy Certificate from Minico High School. As a drafter/designer, he utilizes AutoCad, AutoCAD MEP, Revit and AutoCAD Structural Detailing to produce 2D and 3D detailed drawings. In addition, he has experience in structural, HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems. In addition, he assists with the web master and IT duties of the firm.

Marianne serves as the Chief Bookkeeper and Financial Officer. For in an excess of 16 years she has monitored all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payable. In addition, she ensures the office runs efficiently by providing support in the preparation of utilization and productivity reports.

Marcy Hoskins

Marcy serves as an Administrative Assistant and is responsible for the proper handling of all correspondence, as well as the coordination of all general office functions. She is a key figure in assuring that all administrative procedures are in compliance with client requirements and that correspondence is handled promptly and efficiently. In addition, she is in charge of the safety training for the firm.
